He and his team have enabled the growth of Android TV to more than 110M active devices from hundreds of partners. Prior to Google he was a software and systems engineering lead at Broadcom, developing and deploying Cable, Satellite and IP settop box SoCs and software with OEMs and Pay TV operators. He received his Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dr. Oliver Friedrich – Global Partnerships; Video & Advanced TV DACH -Google Beatrice Chambac | October 26, 2021 Dr. Oliver Friedrich is leading the Video and Advanced TV Publisher Partnerships business at Google for the DACH region. Partners are large broadcasters, sales houses, distributors as well as AVOD providers.Within this role his strategic objectives are focused on the enablement of Advanced TV based on Google’s advertising products, i.e. Google Ad Manager. Prior to joining Google, Oliver’s work experience includes serving in Deutsche Telekom’s Innovation Laboratories and Fraunhofer FOKUS. Oliver holds a PhD (Dr.-Ing.) in Computer Engineering from Technical University of Berlin and an Executive MBA from ESCP Europe.
