Over 25 years’ experience in the Content and Media Business, with a strong background in the Content Production & Rights Acquisition, Marketing, Product Design, … and the ability to execute and manage the business on the Spanish Media Market and the International One for Telefonica in the last 15 years. Over this time, I have been responsible for the development and subsequent management of Telefónica's pay-TV business in Spain (IPTV & OTT), Director of Contents in Telefónica Global Unit (Pay Tv and New Media), Development of New Media Business within the Telefónica Group, responsible for launching and managing several OTT Services (Music, Games, eBooks, ...), etc. all of them always in connection to the core telecommunications business (fix & mobile voice, broadband – BAM & BAF). Today he is Head of Sports Telefónica. Movistar+ Outside Telefonica, he has been a member of the Board of Directors at Several Audiovisual Productions Companies (Crea Anima 2, Caribe Music, S.A., Pantomima, etc.) and he has worked in other outstanding companies in the media sector (The Walt Disney Company, Globo Media, S.A., etc.) and Audit Firms (PriceWaterhouseCoopers).
