Maciej Gozdowski | TVN Poland - Managing Director

Maciej Gozdowski joined TVN (currently TVN Group Discovery) in 2015 as Managing Director of Player.pl. During his work, he significantly developed Player, which currently is the largest Polish subscription streaming service. He successfully managed Player's transformation from a free AVOD service to a fully paid SVOD service including the first in the region AdLite offer. Player’s library includes the best Polish films and series, entertainment programs, as well as lifestyle, automotive, live sports and content for children. Maciej is also an active participant of many market initiatives. He is a member of the Board of the Digital Poland Foundation. The aim of the organization is to make Poland one of the main Digital Innovation Centers in the world. Every year, Player is one of the strategic partners of Digital Festival, which is the largest event in Poland that concerns development of competences in the area of new technologies. Maciej often participates in discussion panels and market conferences as an expert on the VOD market. Before joining TVN, Maciej Gozdowski worked for almost 15 years in various pay-TV services in Poland, such as Canal+.
